About Project Playhouse
Get your company, faith group, family/friends, or other organization involved in the inaugural Habitat for Humanity of DeKalb County’s mission by sponsoring a playhouse through Project Playhouse!
Through partnerships with generous community sponsors, each playhouse is thoughtfully crafted through an all-in-one kit that is provided by Habitat for Humanity of DeKalb County and can be:
- Gifted to a local family in need
- Offered as a company raffle prize
- Given as a memorable holiday gift
- Showcased proudly in your office or storefront
Sponsor a Playhouse
- Single Playhouse Build $2,000 Sponsorship
- Recruit up to 10 volunteers to participate at a location of your choice
- All kits are being assembled by Kishwaukee Education Consortium and will be delivered in person by Habitat for Humanity of DeKalb County the 1st week of October
- There are no restrictions on how you want to decorate Playhouse, when it comes to creativity the sky is the limit
- Sponsors will be highlighted on Habitat for Humanity of DeKalb County social media pages, E-Newsletter and more
Project Playhouse Contest
- All homes must be assembled by Friday, November 7, 2025, to participate in our inaugural Project Playhouse Contest
- Voting for “Best Home” opens on Wednesday, November 12th
o Closes on Monday, November 17th - Winner is announced on Wednesday, November 19th
