 At Habitat for Humanity of DeKalb County, our mission is to embody God’s love by uniting people to construct homes, communities, and hope. We envision a world where every individual has a safe and decent place to call home.

Our principles are rooted in demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ, prioritizing shelter, advocating for affordable housing, promoting dignity and hope, and supporting sustainable and transformative development.

Since 1995, we’ve been partnering with communities locally and globally to provide families with the opportunity to build or enhance their homes. Our homeowners actively participate in the construction process alongside volunteers and commit to affordable mortgage payments.

With your generous support, we empower our homeowners to achieve strength, stability, and independence, fostering a better life for themselves and their families. In Fiscal Year 2024, Habitat for Humanity of DeKalb County expanded our reach through new construction, home repairs, and Neighborhood Revitalization initiatives.
